Experience the Classic Ares Lee Enfield No 4 MK1 in Airsoft
When you talk about British firearms, rifles in particular, one name should stand head and shoulders above the rest, and for good reason. The Lee Enfield family of rifles have been in development long before the break out of the first world war, all the way through to today where Lee Enfield rifles are still being produced. Today, we are luckily enough to have replicas slowly dripping onto the market, but none of which compare to the ultimate in real wood and steel, The Ares Lee Enfield Nm4 mk1!
Ares really have been focusing on bigger bore rifle replicas as of late, with their 308’s, their K98k’s and now the famously chambered 303! I for one am over the moon to see this as I am very much a big rifle kind of guy, I love my old school proper battle rifles. This entry in the series of historical Ares firearms does not disappoint in the slightest, with a solid construction, and smooth bolt pull, clever magazine based feeding system, it seems it ticks all the right boxes.
Talking of boxes it comes in a purposed made case formed to mimic a wooden crate and within, wrapped in greased brown paper lies the rifle in all it’s glory.
The Ares number 4 has been quoted as ‘museum quality’ and having got our hands on it we now know why. It is a truly stunning replica. The wood is superb and far better than any other offerings on the market and the metal work doesn’t have a hint of ‘die’cast’ anywhere on it. Fantastically presented and finished. We would be just as happy presenting it on a wall as running around the skirmishing field with it.
The wait for this has been long, but boy have Ares delivered a fantastically engineered and well presented replica with an attention to detail rarely seen.
