The New Ares M16A3 AEG has taken an older design and updated it to modern standards with the internal technology. You have full metal construction with Polymer furniture. You have an updated version of the EFCS gearbox with a mosfet fitted as standard that is programmable. You also get their new slim pistol grip with slim motor. This makes the pistol grip closer to the real dimension and much more comfortable. 
With the EFCS gearbox system you also get a quick spring change system so that the gearbox does not have to be taken apart to change your required power level.
