Searching for the primary firearm to use in the construction of your Airsoft DMR? The Ares AR-308 line of assault rifles are specially designed for this function since they are based on the genuine steel AR-10 rifles, which are the M4/AR15’s MORE powerful older brother. You have the option of locking the AEG to semi-automatic by either using an Ares programmer unit or mechanically by installing a replacement selector lever if you want to build the inside of the AR-308 to suit the DMR styling of the externals. The AR-308 series are built to dominate, being outfitted with a high torque motor, quick change spring system, the Ares EFCS trigger unit, and a rotary HOP-up unit.

The AR-308L is the full-length member of the Ares AR-308 family and is ready for DMR duty right out of the box. In the box you get the rifle, Iron sights and a Mid-cap magazine, all of which are delivered to you in an excellent quality hard rifle case. The AR-308L has been electronically locked into the semi-automatic firing mode, and it has an average rate of fire of 320 feet per second right out of the box. This means that all you need for the DMR role is a battery, stronger spring and some heavy weight ammunition to get started. The machining all throughout this AEG is quite precise, and it has been given a stunning matt metallic bronze finish. The exterior build quality of this AEG is absolutely superb. It’s hard for us to say if the furious performance of this big boy AR is more impressive than the quality of its exterior.
