Features
Double Bell continue to pack as many great features into their products as possible while keeping the cost at the more affordable price point. Their AEG SCAR series of rifles are no acception. The FN SCAR (Special Operations Forces Combat Assault Rifle) is a family of rifles developed by FN Herstal in Belgium. This family of rifles consist of two main types. The SCAR-L, for “light”, is chambered in 5.56mm NATO and the SCAR-H, for “heavy”, is chambered in 7.62mm NATO. Both come in Close Quarters Combat (CQC), Standard (STD), and Long Barrel (LB) variants.  This particular one, Double Bell SCR-H 807B is the long barrel length varient with M-Lok handguard. with an extended portion of M-Lok section reaching out past the front sight post, providing maximum space for accessories. The SCAR H offering from Double Bell is robust and solid feeling, with a nice weight to it. The upper receiver, much like the real SCAR is machined from a single peice of aluminium. The lower receiver, also much like the real counterpart, is constructed of a rugged nylon reinforced polymer. The charging lever allows access to the hop-up. The lever locks in the back and returns to its normal position after pressing the bolt catch on the left side. The rifle boasts ample rail space, including a top rail spanning almost the full lenght of the rifle, and M-Lok slots on the 3, 6 and 9 o’clock positions around the handguard for the mounting of accessories such as optics, flashlights, lasers, bi-pods, foregrips and a 14mm CCW threaded outer barrel, making it highly customisable. For anyone who wants to replicate a particular Special Forces operator loadout, or those who want to create a rifle that’s completely unique. The tightbore inner barrel is great for accuracy paired with the iron sights, which fold down and out of the way if you decide to run it with an optic. The battery will be connected in the stock, access by removing the pin and the cover. The space for the battery is quite small, we recommend the use of thin batteries of 12x2x1 cm. The folding stock of the SCAR makes it a great choice for players who like a mixture of CQC, but also like to play outdoors and be able to hit targets a bit further away. A tactical sling can be attached to the ambidextrous mounts on the handguard and stock, and also to the the QD points on the handguard.
