There are two primary varieties of rifles in this family. 5.56mm NATO is chambered for the “light” SCAR-L and 7.62mm NATO is chambered for the “heavy” SCAR-H.

Both are available in Long Barrel (LB), Standard (STD), and Close Quarters Combat (CQC) versions. The Double Bell SCR-H 807B, in this case, is the long barrel length variant with the M-Lok handguard. to maximize accessory space, an extended length of the M-Lok segment extends past the front sight post. Double Bell’s SCAR H product seems sturdy and substantial, and it has a pleasing weight to it. Similar to the actual SCAR, the upper receiver is machined from a single piece of aluminum. Similar to its true counterpart, the lower receiver is made of a durable nylon-reinforced polymer. The hop-up can be accessed via the charging lever.

The rifle is highly customizable with plenty of rail space, a top rail that almost completely surrounds the rifle, and M-Lok slots around the handguard at 3, 6, and 9 o’clock for mounting accessories like flashlights, lasers, bipods, foregrips, and a 14mm CCW threaded outer barrel. For those want to build a weapon that is entirely custom or for those who wish to emulate a specific Special Forces operator loadout. When combined with the iron sights—which fold down and out of the way if you want to run—the tightbore inner barrel is excellent for accuracy.

The pin and cover must be removed in order to access the battery, which will be attached in the stock.
