Features
The Heckler and Koch 416 rifle is a NATO military assault rifle used by many infantry worldwide including the US Marines (designated the M27). The 416 in essence is a cross between HKs G36 and a standard AR15. It takes their short stroke gas piston operated system from the G36 series of rifles and uses it to improve the popular and already widely adopted AR15. In airsoft of course, this technicality holds no real relevance, what we do have for it however is a very nice, gas powered, very realistic replica of a HK416A5, the latest itteration of the 416 series. This one is in a lovely Tan finish that HK call greenbrown. The fit and finish are spot on. It’s absolutely solid with virtually no wobble between parts. It’s robust and very well built. The markings are done exceptionally well and are a very nice touch. Collectors will be very pleased. The rifle also uses the latest VFC GBB system and steel internal parts and with their V3 valve Knocker (Same as VFC BCM GBB series), which is far more simplified and reliable than previous versions for increased longevity. The hop up on these is a pretty ingenious design and is done at the gas tube at the muzzle end of the handguard with the provided Allen key. So no need for crude tools down in the chamber or the need to remove the handguard. Please note that just like the real rifle, you cannot manipulate the safety fire selector unless the rifle is cocked. Most VFC M4 mags will work.The 416A5 features a redesigned, mo0re traditionally shaped AR15 Magwell so the curvature of the grey STANAG style colt magazines fit and perform just as well. We recommend the 416 Magazines from Umarex/VFC or the VFC VMags.
