ARES – M110 Carbine Sniper Rifle Replica – Black

Replica manufactured by the renowned ARES brand. Thanks to the obtained license from the American Knight’s Armament Company, the manufacturer of the real firearm, the replica has the authentic name and markings on it’s receiver, including the ironic graphic KAC logo with the helmet and the shield. The M110 is a semi-automatic sniper rifle used by the US Army and USMC soldiers since 2007. The Carbine version is characterized by it’s slightly lower weight and a shorter barrel. The M110 is an improved and modernized variant of the well-known and popular SR25.

The appearance of the replica has been meticulously reproduced in accordance with the real firearm counterpart – the trigger cover, double-sided magazine release, bolt-catch, and the shape of the receiver. It can be safely said that this is one of the best (if not the best) replicas of it’s kind currently available on the market. The icing on the cake of is the possibility of fitting the original stock with the stock guide from the original counterpart version. The replica has adjustable, mechanical flip-up sights. The outer barrel has a 14mm left-hand thread on which a flash hider is mounted.

The replica was made mostly out of high-quality aluminum alloy – the receiver, outer barrel, stock guide, etc. Only the stock and the pistol grip were made out of strong plastic. The replica has a 5-position LMT type stock – its length can be adjusted to adapt the replica to the build and preferences of the operator, and it also houses the replica’s battery.

M110 Carbine is equipped has a set of front free float type rails. Thanks to 22mm RIS mounting rails  we can install a whole range of additional tactical accessories, from optical sights to flashlights and tactical grips. The set includes a set of 3 protective panels for the aforementioned rails. The replica has two QD tactical sling swivels – allowing it to be released with a single press. The front swivel is mounted using the RIS rail.

Access to the hop-up chamber is made possible after pulling back the charging handle. The replica has a functional, double-sided bolt-catch. The replica can fired in full-auto, despite the lack of appropriate markings at the selector. The set also includes a solid metal mount for optics, with 2 rings with a diameter of 30mm.

Like many other ARES replicas, the M110 Carbine also has the quick spring replacement system, making it possible to change the spring on the fly without the need to disassemble the gearbox frame. The heart of the replica is a reinforced, slightly modified v.2 gearbox with an integrated EFCS module – Electronic Firing Control System. It controls the operation of the trigger assembly, assuring smooth operation and shortens the engine response time to pressing the trigger The standard contact block has been replaced by an electronic system. EFCS also has a built-in MOSFET chip.

EFCS significantly increases the longevity of the mechanism, and thus the entire replica, and allows the use of high voltage batteries, including LiPo.

The magazine that comes with the replica is a steel-colored metal mid cap with a capacity of 160 BBs.
