Maruyama – SCW-9 PRO-G Gas Blowback SMG – Black

Maruyama Japan brings you this fantastically well built and designed replica SWC-9 based on the Glock compatible variant of the B&T APC-9K, the US Army’s recently adopted PDW/SMG, the version that utilises Glock magazines. The build quality of this little beast is outstanding. The whole upper receiver and handguard is one piece made of CNC Aluminium and has a beautiful anodized finish. The internals also aluminium with steel parts. The lower is constructed of a heavy duty nylon reinforced polymer. It features a metal quick deploy 3 position stock, with an ambidextrous button, as well as ambidextrous bolt catch, safety/fire selector, mag release and non reciprocating charging handle. The gun sports a 20mm rail along the top spanning the length of the gun for mounting optics as well as 20mm rail sections at the 3, 6 and 9 positions around the handguard for grips, light, and lasers and other accessories. The hop up adjustment is located on the underside of the gun between the magwell and the handguard. The whole thing disassembles like the real APC9K

Included with the gun is a power up tri-lug suppressor that houses an inner barrel extension to increase FPS and Range. Out of the factory, Maruyama have installed air restrictors into the nozzle to ensure that the guns are shooting within the UK limits on green gas with the suppressors attached. This is perfect for CQB as they are. We’ve tested some different combinations of configurations and gas and found that they will average around 340 FPS with the restrictor removed on Abbey 144a maintenance gas, with the suppressor on. So we recommend that if you are wanting to use the suppressor to extend the inner barrel, remove the restrictor and use 144a gas. If you plan to remove the inner barrel extension from the suppressor to install a tracer unit or just because, remove the nozzle restrictor and it will shoot around 320 FPS on green gas. The removal is an easy two minute process or alternatively write in the order notes and we’ll do it for you before shipping.

The thing absolutely rips. It’s snappy and responsive, even on 144a gas and will empty a 50 round VFC Glock magazine in a matter of seconds. On that note, to our knowledge so far it only runs with the VFC Glock magazines. But we will test some others and update our findings here.
