The PA6 (Nylon 6) used to make the holsters is a synthetic Polymer with superior high impact, mechanical, and fatigue qualities, making it a superior material for holsters in general.

The retention paddle included with most holsters is meant to be looped under the user’s waistband for a snug, secure fit. The silicone covering on the paddle’s face increases friction and the fit to the body, both of which contribute to better retention.

NUPROL provides a variety of alternatives to the paddle for carrying a sidearm, including the Modular Lightweight Load Carrying Equipment (MOLLE) adapter, the Drop Leg adapter, and the Shoulder Harness.
