The Most Realistic Airsoft Shotgun on the Market
Features
Most shell ejecting shotgun users will likely tell you that the fun of the immersive realism of the operation vastly outweighs any inconvenience caused by having to go collect the shells afterwards. However, whatever your stance, everyone must agree on the fact that this is probably one of the coolest airsoft innovations we’ve had in the last few years. This has been designed to almost entirely function like a real shotgun, even down to preparing your shell loads. APS listened to users of their previous Mark II design and made some big changes to improve it. The co2 charge is no longer done into the bolt carrier. The shells hold the co2 charge and as many BBs as you so feel works best for your style of play and how much of a spread you want, 12 is the maximum recommended. You then insert a paper topper to prevent them from rolling out and load them into the magazine tube like you would a real one. There’s no need for inner barrels and hop-up chambers as all of the BBs are expended at once in one shot out of the 18mm diameter outer barrel. Rack the pump to eject the empty and load the next one. Charging the co2 directly into the shells means the shotgun is capable of delivering much more power than the previous version. This improves the system tenfold and makes it so much more practical. It’s a bit of a CQB beast and a must have for any collector or player who enjoys the realism. The aggressive look of the BullDog is the cherry on top. Providing a full length rail for optics and accessories, as well as a compensator like front end with rail portions on the 3, 6 and 9 o’clock positions for lights and lasers and what not and home to a recessing dummy breaker spike. The pump includes a leather ammo strap that acts almost like a grip but around your hand, to aid with racking it quickly and holds an extra 4 shells. There’s an extra shell holder on the left side of the receiver for an additional 4 shells too. So total shots carried on and in the gun at any one time is 13. A number quite fitting with the badassery of the design of the rifle itself. Metal parts include the internals, receiver, barrel, magazine tube, trigger guard, trigger, and action. Giving it a good heft and ruggedness, adding to the realism.
