LCT – AK47 LCKMS AEG – Black/Wood
You think of yourself as an AK user? Have you ever handled an LCT? It will get ingrained in your mind. With their tough, dependable, and realistic build quality, LCT is among the most highly regarded brands available. LCT has established a reputation for producing some of the highest-quality goods by paying close attention to detail and closely mimicking the same manufacturing procedures used to create their actual firearm equivalents. This calls for the heavy usage of steel, genuine wood, and durable finishing. Their AEG internals are created with the same dedication. An expanded list of parts that users would normally upgrade to is sent with their gearboxes. Robust internal components with high performance translate into significantly increased dependability without sacrificing Tokyo Marui compatibility.
The AKM and LCKMS are copies of the 1959 AKMS produced by the Soviet Izhmash and Tula plants. The letter “M” stands for modernization and refers to the stamped receiver rather than the milled one, which was more mass-producible and seen as higher tech at the time. Other distinguishing features are the ribbed dust cover. The underfolding stock is indicated by the “S.” These are the most widely observed 7.62mm Soviet AK type rifles. Usually, when someone refers to a “AK47,” they mean the Type 56 Chinese-made AK or the AKM. LCT has done an amazing job at recreating such a famous gun. The quality and finish of the wood, as well as the meticulous attention to detail, including the machining markings on the outside barrel, make the steel sturdy and hefty. You could be forgiven for believing this to be a genuine AKM until you take off the dust cover to find a gearbox. Because it is a V3 gearbox, it can be upgraded in a variety of ways after the fact if you’d want, but it performs admirably and reliably right out of the box. In addition, LCT produces almost all of the AK furniture variations for their rifles and designs them to work with certain genuine steel components. There’s also various other companies making kits, accessories and furniture for LCT AKs such as 5KU, TWI and DyTac. So there are near limitless options to really deck it out in modern rails and accessories and make your own unique rifle.
